Join us for our November annual Marine Corp Day breakfast. It is named in memory of LT William S. Bush USMC, who was killed during the battle between USS Constitution and HMS Guerriere on August 19, 1812. He was the first US Marine Corps officer to die in combat. This annual breakfast recognizes the sacrifices made by Marines past, present, and future. The breakfast begins at 8:00am with morning colors on the pier beside Constitution followed by the breakfast at the USS Constitution Museum. Bush is one of many Marines who committed, and lost, his life on behalf of our country. This annual event draws together friends of the USS Constitution Museum and members of all services in honor of the great sacrifices made by our armed forces – both then and now.
